10 February 1998

Yesterday I found a rather cute grey kitten. I took him home and named him Frisky because when I picked up him and put him in my car, he got a bit frisky and climbed over the seats, across the dashboard. I had to stop twice because I was afraid I'd step on him.

9 February 1998

This morning I woke up with the worst headache ever. I don't know why, but it's killing me and no, I'm not hung over. I can't drink yet.

My birthday's coming up. It's in April. I'll be twenty one.

6 February 1998

The other day I was enjoying some music in my 1998 Dodge Avenger; a gift from my parents. I found a song I really liked and it rather...ironic. Not sure how to expain it. It's frustrating now, since I can't find it anymore.

Anyway, I was headed for J's to meet up with Kevin. He was with some other guy. I'm not sure what his name was. Kevin didn't bother to introduce us. Maybe it was because they weren't really there together? The seemed to be getting along. I don't know.

Unlike Kevin, I only had a few cokes because of my age and even if I could drink, I wasn't going to. I'm not too inclined when it comes to drinking. Something about it turns me off. Maybe it's my up bringing? I'm not quite sure. But I never subjected myself to that kind of thing, not even when I turn twenty-one.

I had to take Kevin home. He was rather...drunk and couldn't drive. His friend seemed fine, but he didn't bother taking Kevin home; so I did. We got lost, because for the life of him, Kevin couldn't remember where he lived...

...Remind me never to take him home when he's drunk again...

I've not much to say. I dislike tests and even though I know I'll pass them, I just don't like them at all. I talked to Kevin and he said I had great potential which pleases me, actually. Just seven more months before I graduate and join the forces.

3 February 1998

I decided to start keeping logs. Why? Mostly because if anything were to happen, anything interesting or major, I'd be able to record it. Besides, who knows what kind of shit will happen? Maybe if I die in the line of duty, I won't be forgotten.

I started at the academy not too long ago. In fact, the days here seem to be flying by pretty quickly and I get closer and closer to becoming a cop.

I've met a few interesting people. In and outside the academy. Kevin Ryman's one of them. He' isn't very bright, but that's what makes him interesting.

I've been to one of the departments. Raccoon Police Department. That's where I met Kevin and a few of the other guys. Chris Redfield, Forest Speyer, Joseph Frost to name a few and their captain, Albert Wesker. He's...interesting, to say the least.

Chris is pretty cool and so is Forest and Joseph, who apparently goes by Frost. They showed me around and their hang out.

However, I don't have much time until the next class of the night. I'll end it here and hope to get another quick log in before classes tomorrow.
